CES Canada’s mission is primarily to secondary school youth orphaned by the HIV/Aids pandemic. From time to time there are CES Graduates who have achieved high marks in the KCSE and who have been admitted toi college or university. The partnership between CES Canada and ACCES provides some limited funding for our students. In addition, CES encourages students to provide some of their own funds. CES Canada then provides a little extra so the student does not lose out on a golden opportunity for post-secondary education.
The following five students have been supported in their post secondary school studies by CES Canada:

Benjamin is CES Canada’s first Graduate. He is now employed with ACCES at Elifulu PS as a teacher.

Wetende Busuku Musili

Wetende had a dream…he returned to school to upgrade so that he could be accepted in a higher learning program.
Hellen Mwangala

Graduated 2008 and attended Midori Teacher’s College in Nyanza Province south of Kisumu
Is expected to graduate in 2012
Hellen is an exceptionally hard worker with a great attitude to life.
Humphrey Wekesa

Graduated 2009 and attended Kenya Medical Training College in Eldoret
He is expected to graduate in 2013
The total fee including accommodation but excluding books is Kshs. 110,000. Humphrey is hardworking and has been able to raise Kshs. 40,000 from his ½ acre sugarcane farm. He is a total orphan who stays with a grandmother.









Congratulations to these comrades and CES. I’m working hard to get my first degree in Communication and Media. CES sponsered part of my high school education. They have made me have a reason to smile and face the future with hope, courage and joy.
