Dear (C. E. S.)

My name is Kent Kinyua. I am 15 years old and form 2 at Nkubu High School. I am extremely glad and joyous as I inform you that the message you sent me was put through clearly by our principal. I was glad and I do appreciate it. Thank you very much for your decision to support me in my education. Not many could have done as you did to me.

I hereby want to inform you that I will not let all that support go into waste. I promise to work hard in my class work never at any time let you down. I am happy for I know my stay at Nkubu High School for the rest of my days I will be comfortable than ever before since I have now someone to cater for my school fees.

I want to thank our able principal for choosing & considering me from the 850+ students in his school and not anyone else. This truly portrays how kind and good this principal is.  I respect him and owe him all due respect and honor he deserves. I appreciate his work and may God keep him safe.

I ask your faith in me that I will not take this golden opportunity for granted. Many would have liked to be in my shoes but they are not since you chose  only me. I promise to work hard and not let you down and also in order to help another child after I have made my dreams come true and having achieved my goals in life. I pray God hears my prayers and blesses the work of my hands more in class.

I don’t think words can simply explain or express the kind of “THANK YOU” I want to deliver and plant in your heart but since it’s the only option then, so be it. I say thank you more than you can ever imagine. I would like to quote this as it has been put in place in my life. “YESTERDAY IS NOT OURS TO RECOVER BUT TOMORROW IS OURS TO WIN OR LOSE” According to me tomorrow is ours to WIN – losing will never appear in my dictionary I will never quit but stick to the fight. Please get this all I am or ever hope to be I owe it to you.

I have realized now that courage isn’t having the strength to go on but going on even when you don’t have the strength. You are the earliest, strongest and most impacting force in my life. May God bless you abundantly and shower your loved ones with endless blessings. May He trim your paths, open your gates and see you through in all you do and may He also accomplish all your plans. That will and is my daily prayer as from today and now.

Thank you very much.

Yours affectionately

KENT KINYUA MWANGI
