Dear CES Canada President

I sincerely appreciate your effort towards sponsoring me in furthering my education.  Having offered me this chance, I promise to work extra hard to achieve my goals in life.  I know that I am a capable student and I have the potential to be who I want to be in life.

I have been staying with my aunt since the death of my parents.  My father died when I was in Standard 3.  I continued to stay with my mother who was working very hard to ensure that I was safe in school.  In 2007 when I was in Standard 7 my mother also died and so I was left a total orphan.  From that time on my aunt has been supporting me even though she does not have a well paying job.

I do understand that success does not come easy and that I must go through bitter and harsh circumstances so as to achieve it.  After completing my studies I wish to help those having the same problems in life that I have faced.  I am promising to work very hard and not waste this chance.

Yours faithfully

Sheila Mukanzi
