Namirama SS for Girls is located 40 km north of Kakamega. Travelling northwest on the Kakamega-Bungoma Hwy C41, the school is located off the main road to Malava. Namirama is a school for girls first built by the Society of Friends in 1970. It is one of oldest of CES schools. Since it is a residential school it is able to provide many after school programs to enrich the lives of students.
