Update and thanks from Viewtone Achaga

A note from the Chair of CES Canada: Viewtone Achaga was in the first graduating class of the CES School of Continuing Education Leadership program. Here is a letter Viewtone sent to CES Kenya Patron, Malik Khaemba, in April 2025.

Dear Chairman Malik,

I hope you’re well.

I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you and the entire CES-Kenya family for the strong foundation you helped build in my life. Your support continues to shape my journey in powerful ways.

I currently work with HSC-Systems Ltd, based in Nairobi. Through this role, I’ve had the chance to grow in my engineering career—focusing on security, fire alarms, access control, and building management systems.

One of the major projects I’ve been involved in is the I&M Bank security setup across Kenya. It gave me the rare opportunity to travel the entire country—from the coastal beauty of Watamu, to the Rift Valley highlands, and the vibrant lakeside city of Kisumu.

Internationally, I’ve contributed to high-level security solutions at Rotana Hotel in Dar es Salaam and Novotel in DR Congo. These experiences have been deeply enriching, both technically and personally.

I regret not keeping in regular communication. Please accept my sincere apologies—it was never out of neglect but the pace of life and work.

Kindly extend my warm regards and appreciation to Michael, Matron Patricia and entire CES-Kenya fraternity. Their encouragement and presence remain a big part of my motivation.

Thank you again for believing in me.

Warm regards,

Viewtone Achaga
